Dr. Parkes graduated from nursing school in 1995, and since then, she has enjoyed her career as a nurse. Nursing has been her first and foremost career choice, and it has been a highly rewarding experience. Her area of expertise include emergency nursing and trauma, medical-surgical, telemetry, midwifery, and home health. Over the years, she has worked as a nursing administrator for a busy emergency room and have also mentored and taught nursing students, guiding them through their clinical rotations.

As a nurse with advanced training, she gained valuable clinical experience and developed strong critical thinking and leadership skills. Her work in various nursing roles has helped me to hone my clinical expertise and become a competent and skilled healthcare professional.

Dr. Parkes has completed three master's degrees in nursing, namely a Master's in Nursing Administration, a Master's in Nursing Informatics, and a Master's of Science-Family Nurse Practitioner. She is proud to have achieved the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with distinction, which has enhanced her ability to positively impact healthcare delivery by implementing evidence-based practices.

Dr. Parkes has a deep passion for caring for her family and working as a nurse. This passion also extends to both friends and clients.
